Nui Mot was a small lake nestling in a valley of the An Truong Mountains until the late 1970s, when a dam was built downstream to create a 1,200-hectare irrigation reservoir that snakes its way back through the high country.
Still called Nui Mot, the largest and prettiest freshwater lake in the central region is the most popular tourist attraction in An Nhon, an inland district of Binh Dinh Province on the central coast.

AnandTech has been benchmarking Android´s new flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, against Apple´s iPhone 4S.

The results: The Google phone bested the iPhone 4S in early browser benchmarks, but the iPhone 4S has a better graphics chip that easily beat Google´s new superphone.

"The real advantage the Galaxy Nexus has is on the software side. All of the goodness of Honeycomb makes its way to a handset along with even further optimization work," AnandTech found.

The Vietnam Dog Show 2011 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on December 10 and 11.
The Vietnam Kennel Association (VKA) has announced that the event will include the first VKA-FCI International Dog Show, the third VKA National All Breed Championship 2011 and the fourth VKA Phu Quoc National Dog Show 2011.
The Phu Quoc Ridgeback is a native breed that has thrived on Phu Quoc Island since the 19th century.

It is not often that we go on a back-packing trip with no outside support whatsoever. In fact, we had never really done it, but summer was coming to a close and we wanted a weekend getaway that was perfect as we could get.

HA NOI CITY TOUR (Full Day)
Warmly welcome to Ha Noi-the commercial, political, cultural heart witnessing the grandiose activities of the country. Throughout the thousand year history, marked by destruction, wars and natural calamities, Ha Noi still preserves the Old Quarter and over 600 pagodas and temples. We also find out the diversity of 54 ethnic groups in Viet Nam Ethnology Museum, which is both a research centre and a public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Viet Nam.
7.30 8.30: Pick you up at your hotel. We start to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house - where Uncle Ho lived and worked from 1958 to 1969, then visit Ho Chi Minh Museum where tourists will learn about his devotion for Viet Nam. We continue our trip to Tran Quoc pagoda, Budhist relics and national heritage, lying on one side of West Lake.
12.00: Have lunch at a local restaurant.
13.00: We drive to Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, which is considered to be the first university in Viet Nam. It is an ancient architecture, built with fairly big scale that still exists until present time in Ha Noi capital. Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) had been built in October 1073 to worship Confucius, the founder of Confucianism and the Chu Van An - headmaster of Quoc Tu Giam (Imperial College) - representing for the high moral philosophy and ethics of Vietnamese education. We drive back to Hoan Kiem legend lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple which worship Van Xuong saint and Tran Hung Dao former general commander. We also know about the Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake. See you off at your hotel.
